Setup Guide: Microsoft Exchange

To configure Microsoft Exchange with Attachment Bot, ensure your Exchange server supports IMAP access and set up your account accordingly.

Enable IMAP Access in Exchange

Consult with your IT department or server administrator to ensure IMAP is enabled on your Exchange server. The steps can vary depending on your organization's settings.

Configure Microsoft Exchange Account in Attachment Bot

Once IMAP is confirmed enabled, you can add your Exchange account to Attachment Bot:

  1. Open Attachment Bot and navigate to the accounts tab in the sidebar.
  2. Tap 'Add Account'.
  3. Enter your full Exchange email address.
  4. Use your regular network password unless advised otherwise by your IT department.
  5. For the IMAP server, enter the server address provided by your IT (commonly something like 'imap.yourcompany.com').
  6. Use port 993 for a secure connection.
  7. Save your account information to start accessing your emails in Attachment Bot.

Consult with your IT department for any specific security protocols or additional settings required for your Exchange account.
